Basquiat – The Jazz Prophets (Charlie Parker Tribute)
When a Picture Begins to Sound Like Jazz This project is a visual improvisation. Against a deep, black background, Basquiat (through his style) "records" the history of music. We see figures of musicians, inscriptions alluding to ornithology (Parker's nickname is "Bird"), and the artist's signature cross-outs, which paradoxically draw the eye even further. This is a poster for those who love art with soul, rhythm, and history.

A Tribute to "Bird" : Inscriptions like "ORNITHOLOGY" (the title of Parker's famous song) and "DIZZY" (Gillespie) create a map of connections in the world of jazz.

The Iconic Blue Crown : Basquiat's central signature, this time in intense blue, symbolizing the royal status of the jazz pioneers.

Expressive Portraits : Stylized, stark images of musicians with instruments, rendered using white, yellow and red that "glow" against a dark background.
